About the author

Leslie Cardix was born and raised in the south of France until the age of 12. A single child, she spent much of her time imagining impossible adventures to undertake in the deep forests that engulfed her home. When her parents decided to move the family to America, her imagination only intensified and reading and writing became new friends in an unfamiliar country. 

Leslie has a baby girl named Margot and lives in North Carolina with her 2 dogs. When she isn’t writing or reading, she can be found running her CrossFit gym, working out or hiking.
